my Hannuka Present

I sometimes eye the couch. They notice and tell me NO. So I guess this dog bed isn't so bad. I can curl up in it and they put my pillows around me in case I need to stretch out. I am refraining from my usual yoga (doga) practice but I still like to lay on the mat while my human does it.

What's going on?

Where is the fur on my leg? It's cold out and I can't walk on it and they keep me on a leash all the time and don't let me go lay on the couch. This is my new hang out. They bring it from room to room. I have been getting alot of petting and attention though and bones every night and salami slices as treats from my dad. Also I feel kinda woozy sometimes.

I went on my walk and then we drove to a place I had been to before but this time the lady took me back behind a door and away from my mom. Why did my mom leave me here? I want to go home.

(Berreta had surgery on her knee today and the surgeon reported that her ACL

 ligament had been torn 80 % so they took it out and repositioned her bone. After some R & R she will be as good as new- Beretta's mom)

I love Pam

Pam comes to take me on a walk. I go in her truck with my friends and we run and play. then she brings me back home. I usually get her to rub my belly before we go.

Where is the cat?

From my perch on the porch I can see into the neighbors yard and sometimes I see the cat. Then I chase it around the corner. I also found some cat food on the property. Now I understand why cat poo tastes good sometimes

ahhh it is getting cooler outside and I get to run through leaves on my walks. squirrels are out in abundance. The leaves hold smells so I like to pee on them and add my mark.

how I knew they were dogs

is I smelled their butts but seeing these dogs with decorations on them was kinda confusing. Even my friend Earl who I am sitting for treats with in the first picture had a weird smelling fur attached to his head. He didn't seem to mind.

Dog o Ween

Our friends came to visit and then we all went in his car to a park full of humans and dogs wearing more than their fur. There was alot of activity there. I found somebody who was giving out treats.

I have been seriously considering who to vote for in the upcoming election. Change sounds good.I want the leash laws changed. I want to be allowed in stores and restaurants with my human. I want someone who represent me. I pick Obama

itching and scratching

I get itches that I must scratch. I sometimes use my teeth if I can reach or I use my back leg for mid belly locations. If I need my whole back scratched I use the grass and roll around till I get satisfaction. I am very good at relaxing. When I lay down it is easy for me to fall asleep. Ahhhhh even a wood floor can feel cool and comfortable

I like to go to the pet food store. I get petted. I sit for a treat. Well I did sit for a second but then I had to reach it. Then I smelled a cat..... I know there's a cat in here. Where?

domestic life

I sit under this counter while they eat and usually and rewarded with some crumbs, Here is where I study the neighbors cat from my backyard perch. If it's raining and thundering I prefer to hang out in the closet where I feel safe and enclosed. And if its morning I always try to get up on the bed to start the day frolicking with my humans.

I have seen the neighbors for years but I still bark at them just in case.

This is where I usually hang out when I am inside. I have other spots but this is mine. It has a cover on it full of my fur, so it smells like me. Nobody else sits on it. I can see and hear most of what is going on in the house. If somebody opens the door, I will jump up and run outside unless I am taking an especially lovely nap.

I smell everything. Smells have tons of information and stories. I recognize other dogs I have met before sometimes. I like to smell flowers too. And then I find a good place to pee and poo.

I found a book of Doga and when I read it I saw that I was already practicing some of the postures. This one I am showing is called "Happy Puppy" I first do it without a ball and then I add a ball to make myself even happier.

glorious summer days

I love when its warm and I go swimming at the lake near our house. I never tire of retrieving the ball. I learned to swim when I was two years old. After I get wet my fur is heavy so I must shake. Then I rest in the sun feeling nice and cool until the next throw. Many dogs come to enjoy the lake. I sniffed the yellow dogs' butt and then we swam together.
