domestic life
I sit under this counter while they eat and usually and rewarded with some crumbs, Here is where I study the neighbors cat from my backyard perch. If it's raining and thundering I prefer to hang out in the closet where I feel safe and enclosed. And if its morning I always try to get up on the bed to start the day frolicking with my humans.

my couch
This is where I usually hang out when I am inside. I have other spots but this is mine. It has a cover on it full of my fur, so it smells like me. Nobody else sits on it. I can see and hear most of what is going on in the house. If somebody opens the door, I will jump up and run outside unless I am taking an especially lovely nap.

A Note from the human
for all followers and fans of Berreta, she has asked me to inform you that she is having problems posting photos and a video. We hope to resolve this problem soon. Meanwhile she is learning and practicing Doga, (yoga for dogs) and will share with you as soon as we figure out this glitch. She also wants to invite readers to participate in an advice type column titled "WWBD?" This stands for What would Berreta Do? If you have a question please ask in the comments section. She will give you her utmost consideration and response. I will act as her secretary until a keyboard is designed that will accommodate her paws.

glorious summer days
I love when its warm and I go swimming at the lake near our house. I never tire of retrieving the ball. I learned to swim when I was two years old. After I get wet my fur is heavy so I must shake. Then I rest in the sun feeling nice and cool until the next throw. Many dogs come to enjoy the lake. I sniffed the yellow dogs' butt and then we swam together.

a different world
we went in the car for a long time until everywhere I looked I saw green. It smelled good! I stuck my nose out wanting to stop and explore. Finally we stopped. the terrain was different, dryer, quieter and the squirrels were much bigger (see last photo). I enjoyed chasing the squirrels but they were faster, they didn't even have to escape up trees. We slept together in a one room cabin. I missed my couch. I would like to go there again.
